Will you do 31 Miles in 31 Days for homelessness?

2020 may have ended in tiers but you can decide how to start 2021. So why not challenge yourself and make a difference by joining HARP’s “31 Miles in 31 Days” New Year Challenge? Whether you do one mile a day, smash out all the miles in one go, or something in between, you have the chance to decide how you want to start the New Year, get outside and help some of Southend’s most vulnerable people by taking part in the challenge of completing 31 miles or more this January and raising money for HARP’s work with local people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home.

Run, walk or cycle 31 miles or more in January 2021 and help local people overcome homelessness for good.

Here’s how to get started…

  1. Sign up here – it’s only £5 for individuals and £15 for families of up to six people. You can do it as a family or household/bubble, and you can even invite friends to join the challenge and do it together (even if you have to be apart).

  2. Set up your fundraising page – you’ll get a link as soon as you sign up.

  3. Ask friends and family to help you achieve your fundraising target (£100 for individuals or £200 for families).

  4. Connect your fundraising page to the Strava tracking app to monitor your progress and easily share updates with your friends and family for added motivation and support.

Anyone who hits their fundraising target will get a free t-shirt to say thank you for taking part in the challenge and as a souvenir of your New Year achievement. We’ll send you fundraising tips to help you reach your target! We can’t wait to hit the ground running (or walking, or cycling) with you in 2021!
