Donate items or food

We are always amazed by the generous donations we receive from the people of Southend. Your donations of food and other items really do make a huge difference. Receiving a nutritious meal at our Bradbury Day Centre or picking out a warm layer from our donations shed can be life changing first steps towards recovery.

If you would like to make a donation of clothing, bedsheets and linen, or any other items, please bring them down to one of our charity shops during opening hours.

Please note we do not accept donations of used duvets or pillows (even if clean) as we do not have the facility to wash them.

From the shop, we will always try to send donations of clothes down to our Bradbury Day Centre so that they can be given directly to homeless people that use our services or people living in HARP accommodation. However, sometimes items are not wanted by service users or they are not suitable. So, to minimise waste, we will try to sell them in our charity shops and the money raised is used to fund HARP's services for local people facing homelessness.

And please don't forget to ask our friendly team about signing up for Gift Aid, to increase the value of your donation by 25% at no cost to you!

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS OUTSIDE OUR BRADBURY DAY CENTRE OR CHARITY SHOPS.

Thank you for supporting HARP
