HARP has a refurb!

One of our properties has had a refurb, meaning that the total number of formerly homeless people we can accommodate has increased to 174! As well as being given a modern face lift, the property is now able to accommodate up to 10 people (up from 8!), who are taking steps towards overcoming homelessness for good.

We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, that’s why we have fitted each room with a bed, kitchen unit, and television, and many rooms have en-suite too. Shelter and security is coupled with access to support, training and activities so people can take positive steps and prepare themselves for independent living. (continued below...)

Since the refurb, residents have been working hard on the garden, creating flower beds and planting flowers to make a beautiful outside space for socialising. Residents have also been busy upcycling old furniture donated from our London Road shop.
