Roslin Fundraising Dinner

HARP raised an incredible £26,200 at our fundraising dinner at the Roslin Beach Hotel on the 10th November!

Our fundraising dinner was a huge success, with guests enjoying a 3-course meal and an evening of fun all whilst raising crucial funds for our Bluebird Appeal. The night featured an auction of high value prizes as well as luxury hampers to be won in the raffle.

We would like to say a massive thank you to the great and the good of Southend who attended the event, including local businesses Sparky Film, Boxtree Recruitment, Couno, SK Architechts, Estuary Housing and Furniture Outlet, who all donated generously.

Dina Jobson, HARP’s Head of Fundraising says: “It was such a fabulous night with an amazing amount of money raised going towards our Bluebird Appeal, the generosity of the guests have taken us one large stride closer to reaching our target, enabling us to transform the lives of people experiencing homelessness."

Bluebird, which is a combination of six brand new shared houses, as well as renovated nearby existing properties in Southchurch Avenue, will be home to up to 50 local people who have experienced homelessness. Providing supported accommodation to younger clients and those at the end of their journey with HARP, Bluebird will be a final stepping stone for many before moving on to live independently in the wider community.

We are aiming to raise £175,000 for this amazing project and following the success of the fundraising dinner, there is only £100,000 left to raise. If you’d like to support the appeal to help get this project over the finish line, you can find out more here.
