The Really Big South Essex Sleep Out

In October and November, over 60 groups signed up and took part in our first annual Really Big South Essex Sleep Out. It saw families and community groups across the area brave the elements and raise money for local homeless people.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all those who pitched a tent or endured the night with just a sleeping bag. We hope that you had as much fun as we did, whilst learning some of the challenges the homeless face and raising a fantastic amount of money for HARP.

So far, you have raised a massive £6000, a figure that is still continuing to rise as we receive sponsorship donations. If you have yet to send your money in, please don’t delay, your contributions are so important to local homeless people, especially as the colder months begin to roll in.
