Collections paused until further notice
Collections have been paused until further notice due to the Tier Four coronavirus restrictions in Southend.
We sell items in our charity shops to raise vital funds to support services for homeless people in Southend. Sometimes, donated items may even be used directly by our service users.
We are able to collect all sorts of large items like beds, sofas, tables, wardrobes, bookshelves and more. And, during the Coronavirus pandemic, we are extending this service to include collections of clothing and bric-a-brac.
If you are donating clothing and bric-a-brac without accompanying furniture or electrical items, we ask that a minimum of three large bags are donated. Please note that at present our collection team are not allowed to enter properties, therefore all donations must be left outside of the property on the agreed date.
When collections resume, you will be able to request a free collection with our team via our online form and then a member of our team will contact as soon as possible to confirm your booking.
Find our more about what we can collect and what we can't sell, and please take the time to read our Sort It Yourself advice, helping to ease the pressure on our charity shops as we come out of lockdown.
If you've already requested or booked a donation collection and have a question, please contact us here.
