Have a Heart for HARP gives you a chance to celebrate Valentine's Day in a different way by showing some love for some of the most vulnerable in our community.

This February you can show your support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Southend area by hosting your own Have a Heart for HARP day. Here are some ideas, all of which can be adapted to be:

• Have a non-uniform day in your school or organisation on or around Monday 14th February and invite donations of £1 or more from participants (we can supply Have a Heart for HARP stickers). 

• Invite your students, colleagues or congregation to wear something green, or something with hearts or Valentine's themed, and make a donation. 

• Host a virtual coffee morning, afternoon tea, Valentine's dinner or fundraising event of your choice with donations going towards HARP's work. 

• Take a special collection at your church service on the closest Sunday to Valentine’s Day.
