It's Time To End Street Homelessness

In August 2020, we asked our supporters to join us in calling time on street homelessness by writing to our local MPs. 359 people signed the open letter and we sent it on to our local MPs.

As a result, the late Sir David Amess MP wrote to the then Secretary of State for Housing Communities and Local Government Robert Jenrick MP, to highlight the campaign and raise awareness of our request for support.

Don't Just Walk By

In 2017, we joined forces with Southend BID for our Don't Just Walk By campaign, aiming to educate and inspire the local community to show compassion to local people experiencing homelessness.

Taking the form of a booklet distributed around Southend, the campaign provided useful tips for locals to ensure that people affected by homelessness could be supported and signposted to local services like HARP.
