Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (variable shifts)

We are looking to recruit to our Emergency Accommodation services in Southend. This includes Heath House (mixed occupancy) and White Heather House (female only accommodation) within The Bradbury Centre.

 

Your main role will be to lead the team to support HARP residents in their stay with us and with their first move out of homelessness and on to independent living.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience of: 

  • Leading, managing and developing staff

  • Case reviews and management

  • Monitoring Housing Benefit and Service Charge income

  • Being responsible for petty cash and general expenditure

  • Reducing complaints, evictions and anti-social behaviour

  • Working with a range of stakeholders and of partnership working

HARP will provide you with support and training to carry out your role effectively, and to help develop your career. Our benefits package for this 37-hours-per-week role includes 25 days’ annual leave, plus entitlement to Bank Holidays, a contributory pension scheme through The People’s Pension, and a Death in Service Benefit paid for by the Charity. Unless you choose to opt out of the pension scheme, HARP will make a contribution towards this and you will also be required to make a contribution by deduction from salary.
