Bank Holiday Services for People Experiencing Homelessness in Southend
While many relax over the long weekend, our frontline team will still be supporting some of Southend's most vulnerable people, as will the staff and volunteers at other local agencies supporting people experiencing homelessness in Southend.

Bank Holiday Weekend Services for People Sleeping Rough
HARP's Bradbury Day Centre will provide Night Packs on request over the Easter Break (Friday 2nd - Monday 5th April). Night packs can be picked up between 6pm-7pm from the Bradbury Centre, 103-107 York Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 2DL.
HARP's Outreach Team will also continue to be out and about over the bank holiday weekend, offering support to local people sleeping rough. Whilst our Intensive Support Team and Emergency and Supported Housing Teams will continue to provide the support needed by people staying with HARP or living in other temporary accommodation.
SVP are operating ‘Kindness Kitchen’ services on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday, 7.00pm-8.00pm, at Unit 9, Victoria Business Park, Short Street, Southend on Sea, SS2 5BY.
One Love Soup Kitchen are open on Easter Monday as usual but will open half an hour earlier, 6.00pm-8.00pm, at Hollybrook, Carnarvon Rd, Southend-on-Sea SS2 6LR.
Homeless Help & Advice
If you are Homeless please contact Southend Council Housing Solutions Team on 01702 21500 to discuss your situation. The line is open on weekdays and out of hours (after 5.00pm and weekends).
If you are a member of the public and you have concerns about someone sleeping rough please complete an alert via the Streetlink website. Streetlink will then alert all local agencies with Outreach Services so they can make contact with the person you are concerned about at the earliest opportunity.
