31 Miles 31 Days

What a year it’s been but I am pleased to say that we are still working hard at ensuring we are there for every vulnerable person that needs us in and around Southend to overcome and escape homelessness, and this is where you can help again!

We are excited to let you know that this year we are relaunching our 31 Miles in 31 Days New Year Challenge and registration for this is now open!

Last year, the participants raised over £8,000 by walking, running and cycling. Will you take part this year?

We couldn't do what we do without the support of people like you, so thank you!

Here’s how to get started…

  1. Sign up here – it’s only £5 for individuals and £15 for families of up to six people. You can do it as a family or household/bubble, and you can even invite friends to join the challenge and do it together (even if you have to be apart).

  2. Set up your fundraising page – you’ll get a link as soon as you sign up.

  3. Ask friends and family to help you achieve your fundraising target (£100 for individuals or £200 for families).

  4. Connect your fundraising page to the Strava tracking app to monitor your progress and easily share updates with your friends and family for added motivation and support.

Anyone who hits their fundraising target will get a free t-shirt to say thank you for taking part in the challenge and as a souvenir of your New Year achievement. We’ll send you fundraising tips to help you reach your target.

Every year, HARP support on average around 1,000 local people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. Can you help us make sure that people like Andrew can be safe and warm this Christmas and throughout the year?
