Molo Lounge raises over £1000 for homeless people!

Southend High Street’s newest bar and restaurant, Molo Lounge, has raised £1,056 to support HARP!

Molo Lounge, who opened their doors earlier this year, partnered up with us, donating 50p of every burger and 10p of every coffee sold in their first month of trading to local people overcoming homelessness. After a successful first month, the bar and restaurant raised over £1,000 to support our services.

Molo Lounge’s General Manager, Tom Keauffling, said: "Homelessness is an issue that is really important to us. Sadly, it is something that we see coming into work most mornings and when we leave in the evening too, so it has been great to do something to show our support for services helping homeless people. We’d like to thank all of our amazing customers for a hugely successful first month and for helping us to raise over £1,000 for HARP”.

HARP’s Community Fundraiser, Lisa Walton, says: “We love seeing the local community get behind what we do to help us turn more lives around. We’d like to say a massive thank you to Molo Lounge and all of their customers for raising such an amazing amount of money to support local homeless people.”
