Staff at Southend raise £410 to help homeless people

The wonderful staff at Southend Hospital got together to organise a fundraising 5 a side football tournament in support of HARP to raise cash to help some of Southend's most vulnerable people.

Everyone at Southend Hospital provides an incredible service to our town on a daily basis, which is what makes this fundraiser all the more special. The tournament had 6 departments taking part: physiotherapy, ambulance, pharmacy, porters, radiology/ x-ray and maintenance. At the end of a fun packed day, raising money and awareness for local homeless people, it was the physiotherapy team (photo above) who were crowned champions!
