Give your old fivers to HARP

At midnight, the old £5 notes went out of circulation, meaning that shops, bars and cafes will no longer be accepting them for purchases. However, you can still exchange them at your local bank or post office.

We are asking that you put your old £5 notes to good use by donating them to us, so that we can help local people overcome homelessness permanently. Even small donations mean a great deal to our service users – just knowing that people care can make all the difference. So, if you have an old fiver lying about, please think of us!

If you are interested in donating your old £5 notes, you can either post them to the address below or pass them on to our friendly team at one of our shops (addresses below). Please be aware that as the old £5 notes are no longer legal tender, we will not be able to accept them for purchases.
