An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Sales Assistants to join our Charity Shops Team via the Kickstart Scheme. You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Charity Shops, Charity Shops Managers and Sales Assistants to achieve strong sales in our network of Charity Shops in Southend-on-Sea.
Main purpose of the job:
Provide support and cover for our existing staff team, working flexibly in a variety of locations and shift patterns as required.
Provide a high standard of Customer Service at all times.
Help the Charity Shops Team achieve their income goals to raise valuable money for HARP to use to fund it's homelessness services.
Prepare stock for display, and ensure stock is rotated regularly.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience within a customer service role to demonstrate good communication skills.
Experience of cash handling and reconciliation.
The ability to take on board instructions and have the self-motivation and the confidence to effectively carry out
the tasks in a timely manner.
Be flexible and able to go above and beyond to achieve results, including the ability to work weekends.
