We are looking to recruit a talented individual who shares our passion for overcoming homelessness, to oversee the quality, and safety of delivery, of all our services. This post is part time, with 21 hours per week being worked ideally over flexible days, and reports directly to the Chief Executive.
The main duties of the role are:
Monitoring and evaluating the quality of all HARP’s services, mainly through chairing quarterly performance review meetings.
Organising and chairing implementation meetings for all new projects / properties / significant events such as a VIP visit to the Charity.
Pulling together and updating HARP’s Services Manual, containing all policies and procedures relating to service delivery.
Responsibility for implementation of Health & Safety through HARP’s appointed H&S Consultants.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience of chairing and organising meetings (including via Zoom or equivalent platform), and of drafting, reviewing and maintaining policies and procedures, keeping these in line with best practice and with regulatory requirements. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work closely alongside a range of staff at all levels in the organisation, as well as with volunteers, Trustees and any external funders or service users with whom the role interrelates. You will need to be able to maintain relationships with all of these which exhibit mutual respect and understanding of each others’ roles, responsibilities and key challenges faced. You will also, ideally, have experience of applying Health & Safety regulations, guidance and risk assessments.
The successful candidate will display patience, politeness, empathy and self-control. They will also be able to demonstrate the ability to hold others to account when assessing and managing the quality of service delivery, or the implementation of new projects and opening of properties, and in overseeing compliance with Health & Safety requirements, all via a supportive and sensitive approach.

Unless you choose to opt out of the pension scheme, HARP will make a contribution towards this and you will also be required to make a contribution by deduction from salary.
