HARP is Southend-on-Sea’s leading homelessness charity and every year we work with around 1,000 local people to help them overcome or avoid homelessness.

About The Role

We are looking for an energetic and engaging Manager who is ambitious, positive and forward thinking to join the HARP operational team and lead on the development and growth of HARP’s Complex Needs Supported Housing services in Southend-on-Sea. Reporting to the Head of Complex Needs Services, the ideal candidate will have:
An understanding of and substantial experience of working face to face with vulnerable and complex people
Substantial experience working in the homelessness field sector or supported housing environments
Experience in leading, managing and developing staff
Ability to establish trust and maintain a good rapport with residents when carrying out advice/support work; including the ability to identify and raise concerns regarding safeguarding
Ability to stay focused and efficient in the face on changing priorities
Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and partnership working
