We sell items in our charity shops to raise vital funds to support services for homeless people in the Southend area.

 

You can book a free collection of large items with our team via our online form, and a member of our team will contact you within five working days to confirm your booking.

We can collect...

​

• Sofas, armchairs and suites

• Tables, chairs, desks and cabinets

• Beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers and dressers

• Other large items of furniture, such as TV units and coffee tables

• Certain large electricals like TVs, fridges and freezers

• Smaller electricals and bags of clothing can only be collected alongside larger items

We can't collect...

​

• Soft furnishing without a fire safety label attached

• Water-based electrical items, such as washing machines and dishwashers

• Tumble dryers

• Smaller electricals and bags of clothing, unless accompanied by larger items

• Any items that are on our list of things we can't sell

Requesting a collection

Before requesting your collection, please make sure that:

• The items you wish to donate are in good condition and work correctly

• Any soft furnishings have their original fire safety labels attached

• The items aren't on our list of things we cannot sell

​

Please remember, all collections are subject to the discretion of our collection team, so we advise not to arrange for replacements to arrive until your collection has been completed.
