We are recruiting an IT Technician to work alongside the IT Manager, to install and maintain a whole range of IT equipment (hardware and software) including laptops, desktops, servers, CCTV, Paxton Net2 door access, Wi-Fi networks, mobile / desk phones, lone worker devices, Active Directory, AVG antivirus, and Microsoft 365. The successful candidate will also be required to monitor the IT Helpdesk to keep on top of all the incoming tickets and make sure they are keeping in communication with the user and that the ticket is resolved in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will:

Will have a level 2/3 qualification in IT & five GCSEs grade A*-C or equivalent

Have experience working on a fast-paced IT Helpdesk / support service, delivering excellent service levels to users and responding to issues in a timely fashion

Experience of problem solving / troubleshooting to get software & hardware working in a personal or professional capacity

Experience within a customer service role to demonstrate good communication skills
