Salary: Point 17, £24,491 rising incrementally to Point 22, £27,041 per annum

As a charitable registered provider of short-term social housing operating in Southend-on-Sea, we believe everyone should have a home of their own. At times individuals may require support from HARP and other agencies to maintain a tenancy and avoid a return to homelessness.

We currently manage 226 bed spaces in our emergency and short-term accommodation, employ over 90 full and part time staff, and supported by a number of volunteers.

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience of:

 

  • Line management

  • Supporting people with complex needs and those in recovery from substance misuse

  • Managing a small caseload of clients

  • Carrying out regular supervision and performance reviews to ensure good practice

  • Assisting the Team Manager in ensuring the properties are safe and well maintained.

 

You will be joining a large and diverse housing team. The nature of working within a Complex Needs environment can be challenging so the Coordinator will need to show they have good conflict resolution techniques and lead by example within the team when resolving difficult situations.
